Police Report Community Concerns

1. BZA # 17159. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ryan –
5104 Sherier Place. Application for special exception to build an
addition to their home. The home is semi-detached with a party wall at
5102 Sherier and does not meet the side yard requirements in R-1-B
District.
2. Discussion about number of trees slated for removal along
Dalecarlia Parkway.
3. Presentation by the Army Corps of Engineers regarding plans
for the remediation of Lot #18 in Spring Valley.
4. Presentation by The Lab School on the need for additional
parking.
5. Intra-Commission discussion on the need to form additional
committees to support the work of the Commission.
6. Discussion and vote to support a bill before the DC Council.
This bill, known as the "Right-of-way at crosswalks Amendment Act of
2003,." would prevent vehicles from passing a crosswalk when a
pedestrian is crossing a roadway. 7. Consideration of March minutes.
8. Treasurer’s report and presentation of second quarter
financial report.
